Recently, my daughter and I were invited to a housewarming/open house. It occurred to me that we should have a gift - but what???? Had just heard a high percentage of people did not want alcohol; a lower percentage didn't want wine. I wanted something that would be significant but could be disposed of later. After all, no one needs more "stuff" - and that is when I logged into Stein's Flowers & Gifts website.
Then, I paid a little more to have it delivered before we arrived (as a surprise). When I looked around the house, there was no doubt what I had ordered. It was just as I pictured it. I thought it was perfect. Later, the hostess made a comment about what was she going to do with all the bottles of wine that she received.
After scrolling down through all the possibilities, I chose a simple white poinsettia. It was full of blooms. I asked to have it sprayed with sparkle, have an elegant bow - they suggested a nice container. The person I spoke to (Barb) said this would make a lovely housewarming gift. She was so helpful and reassuring.
My initial experience was done through the Website ordering platform. I worked all the way through the site inputting all appropriate information, but process failed with the complete purchase step. Very frustrating. I waited until the shop opened and had to go through the entire process again over the phone. Although their product was delivered on time, the bouquet looked nothing like the website picture that I based my purchase from. I was shocked, and very disappointed. I showed my wife the difference between what she received and what I ordered. Don't trust the website pictures.
